As Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Alhamdulilah our community were blessed to be able to acquire 5.3 acre land adjacent to masjid last year. The land has been cleared of trees and other debris to be able to use it for much needed parking and other miscellaneous uses.
The planning committee of IFGSTL under supervision of Majlis Al Shura has been working on developing master plan for this land.
Through this survey, we’re seeking community input on ideas of utilization of this land.
Tentative ideas have been discussed in planning committee and Majlis Al Shura to build multipurpose building with additional parking, meeting rooms, community activity center, and possibly banquet hall(s).
An architectural firm has been finalized to make a master plan for this land based on the outcomes from this survey.
Please fill out this survey to give your opinions and ideas about utilization of this land. We will be collecting this information over next 2 weeks Inshallah, deadline for receiving feedback is November 24th, 2023. We will then compile the feedback and discuss with the general community, Inshallah.
The final master plan is subject to approval by St Louis County. We would like to have master plan ready by Ramadan, year 1445. Construction will happen in phases, and your list of priorities will be considered in making future decisions InshaAllah.
